WSASCD is one of 67 ASCD affiliates located in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, and East Asia.

Washington State ASCD is a professional organization whose mission is to identify and promote quality educational practices that enhance the growth and development of all educators and students.

Washington State ASCD is an independent state unit affiliated with International ASCD through compatible constitutions and participation in the governance of ASCD through membership on its Board of Directors.

WSASCD offers an opportunity for leadership, problem solving, joint planning, research, publications, and networking.
